Is this a gambling site?

No. We operate under law where skill-based competions for marketing purposes which require using skills and judgment are perfectly legal and not considered gambling activities.

Why spot the car? Why cannot I just buy a raffle ticket?

This is a promotional competition, not a lottery. You have to show us your skills and beat other participants. So, it all depends on you – element of chance is minimized. And that is cool, isn’t it?

How do I know this is not a scam?

We have invested substantial funds in creation of our websites and marketing them accordingly. We simply are better off developing an honest business than making a one-time scam.

How long do I have to wait for the car?

This competition will finish when all tickets are sold. This will require couple of months. However, for all our prizes there are waiting lists between 12 to 36 months long. With our competition, it is certain you will beat the queues. When the competition is closed, the Promoter will purchase the prize as soon as possible even at premium over MSRP (up to 10% over MSRP).

Did you purchase the prize yet?

No. The prize will be purchased when the winner is determined since it is unknown whether left or right hand drive car will be required. This procedure will enable the Promoter to consult the desired specification with the winner.

What is defined probability?

In our competition you know number of tickets to be sold for each game. This means you know your odds to win. In Cars Lotto your chance of winning is at least 1000 times more probable than in a major lottery. On top of that, you can increase your chances of winning by purchasing one of special package deals.

What if I want cash instead of the car?

No problem. You are entitled to the cash equivalent of MSRP of your prize in the form of a lump sum wired to your account.

Where do I pick up the car?

We will deliver the prize to your country of residence free of charge.

How many tickets can I buy?

There is no limit. 25 is the most we have had so far!

How do you select the winner?

The winner of the competition is determined using a computerised ‘spot the puck’ competition which you will enter as part of the ticket buying process. You will be shown a photograph that has had the puck removed from it. You must use your skill, judgement and creativity to decide where you think the centre of the car would logically have been. Your chosen point will be recorded as an X and Y coordinate. At the end of the competition the same picture is shown to a professional sporting judge in the presence of a lawyer and he marks (in exactly the same way) where in his professional opinion he thinks the centre of the car ought to have been. The winner is the person who is closest to the judge’s position.

How do I know I won?

We will notify the winner by email and telephone them.

Have you got other prizes as well?

The winner can opt for cash alternative. In this case, the winner will receive an equivalent of MSRP of the prize he/she is entitled to.

In my country there is VAT (sales tax) and import tax on cars. Who will cover these costs?

The promoter will deliver the prize with local VAT/GST/sales tax paid. Please refer to Terms and Conditions for additional details.
